The State Duma has adopted a number of laws establishing additional support measures for participants of the special military operation (SVO) and their families.
State Duma Deputy of the Russian Federation and coordinator of the federal project "Entrepreneurship" of the "United Russia" party Alfiya Kogogina commented: "Support measures for participants of the special military operation and their family members are constantly being improved and expanded through legislation. In total, 164 laws have been adopted in this area since 2022. Today, a number of other fair and relevant bills were supported in the final reading.".
In particular, parents of disabled military personnel will be provided with the opportunity to take leave at the same time as the soldiers to provide them with assistance during rehabilitation; overdue credit debt for military personnel accumulated before May of this year will be written off; soldiers and law enforcement officers serving on the front lines will be guaranteed the automatic renewal of land lease or gratuitous use agreements.
