The main tasks of the department are the organization and implementation of measures to save energy and improve energy efficiency, reform and modernize housing and communal services.
The main activities of the department are:
- solving issues related to electricity, gas, heat, public water supply, sanitation;
- solving street lighting issues;
- participation in the development and implementation of municipal programs in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement, programs for the development of communal infrastructure of the municipal entity "city of Naberezhnye Chelny";
- implementation of measures to prepare housing stock and communal facilities for heating season;
- consideration of complaints and appeals from citizens and legal entities regarding electricity, gas, heat, water supply, and sanitation.
