Library guests will have the opportunity to attend an event where they can not only recall the writer but also learn many new and interesting facts about his life and work. The highlight of the evening will be a young man dressed as Anton Pavlovich, quoting his works. Visitors will take a journey through the writer's creative path and wonderful works, and get acquainted with memorable places associated with his life: the estate in Melikhovo, the house in Yalta, and Sakhalin Island. An excerpt from the documentary film "Anton Chekhov Museum-Reserve in Melikhovo" about the writer's life and work on this estate will be particularly informative.
Participation in the dramatization of the writer's short story "Joy" will give those present an opportunity to demonstrate their acting skills.
Concluding the literary evening, young people will take part in the quiz "Chekhov Experts". The best connoisseurs of the writer's life and work will be awarded with medals.
The event is held by appointment by phone: 8 (8552) 52-69-06.
