The author of the play is playwright Amir Kamaliev, Honored Art Worker of Tatarstan, who has dedicated his entire life to the stage.
The play depicts an ordinary Tatar village, but an important event happens here. A "Moscow" director arrives at the local folk theater. And here, in a modest house of culture, true theater begins: rehearsals, songs, dances, and even a love triangle, with the young beauty Daniya at the center of attention. Two actresses, Sabira and Maishakar, fight for the lead role in the new production and for the attention of the new director from the capital. And, of course, the story covers the anxieties of a stern chairman awaiting guests from the district center. In short, life in the rural backwoods will never be the same again.
