Teenagers will have the opportunity to attend an event where they can not only recall the writer but also learn many interesting facts about the life and work of this 19th-century author. A highlight of the evening will be a young man dressed as Nikolai Vasilyevich, who will accompany the presenter's story with quotes from the author.
Visitors will be able to take a virtual journey through the work of N. V. Gogol, during which they will become familiar with memorial places associated with his life – Sorochyntsi, Dikanka, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Rome. Separate slides will be dedicated to "Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka" and its most famous story, "Christmas Eve," which the participants will dramatize to demonstrate their acting skills to the audience. During the event, young people will be able to take an active part in competitions such as "Identify the Work," "The Magic Chest," "Literary Scholars," and "Anagrams."
The meeting will conclude with the teenagers' expressive reading of an excerpt from "Dead Souls" about the troika bird.
The event is held by appointment by phone: 8 (8552) 52-69-06.
