The program will begin with a touching meeting at the poet's portrait. The librarian will talk about the key stages of Tukay's biography and explain why his work became an essential milestone in the history of Tatar literature. Then, participants will divide into teams, coming up with names inspired by his works.
The main part of the event consists of five exciting rounds with various tasks. In the "Biography Experts" round, teams will answer questions about important events in Tukay's life: from his place and date of birth to the periods of his creative flourishing and literary connections. In the "Guess the Work" round, based on excerpts read by the presenter, they will need to identify the poem or fairy tale, briefly retell the plot, and, if possible, indicate the year of writing or historical context.
In the "Illustrators" round, participants will be invited to create a sketch for a scene from a work and explain their choice of imagery and colors. In the "Poetic Mosaic" round, teams will assemble a poem from scattered lines, read it aloud, and explain the meaning of key metaphors. Additional points are awarded for expressive reading. In the final "Literary Detective" round, participants will need to restore "encrypted" quotes, name the work, and justify the author's choice.
