About the event

Artistic painting of ready-made ceramic items using engobes. We provide the items ourselves. Engobes are clay-based paints for decorating ceramics. They are applied to an unfired piece or after the first firing. The color may change after firing, becoming brighter, and the glaze coating may also affect the final color. Solid engobing or brush painting is a method used to obtain an item of the desired color to mask the surface of the ceramic body.

Participants of the master class will decorate clay items (plates, cups, figurines, etc.) with engobes under the guidance of a professional master of decorative and applied arts. Thus, participating in the master class allows you not only to create a unique item but also to significantly improve your artistic skills, which, in turn, contributes to forming a deeper understanding and respect for the art of handmade work.

The maximum number of participants for the session is 10 people!
