About the event

The event reveals a colorful kaleidoscope of cultures through its main instrument – the book. The presentation of publications, books on ethnography, and art albums allows one to immerse oneself in the unique rituals, costumes, and crafts of different ethnic groups.

Studying pages with illustrations of national ornaments becomes the basis for a practical workshop, where traditional patterns come to life on paper.

A lecture hall based on popular science publications from our collections reveals the historical context and symbolic meaning of the presented traditions, fostering a deep understanding of cultural diversity through primary sources and research.
