About the event

Anna Akhmatova is one of the most important poets of the 20th century. Her poems became a vital part of Russian literature of that time. She was renowned for her unique style, deep emotions, and the ability to convey the most subtle shades of the human soul. Her work continues to inspire writers and readers alike. Akhmatova's poems have been translated into many languages, and she herself has become a symbol of Russian literature and female strength.

At this event, participants will learn about the life and creative path of Akhmatova, as well as her influence on Russian literature. Using an electronic presentation and videos, the presenter will share interesting facts with teenagers and introduce books from the library's collection. Poems will be read to help immerse the audience in the atmosphere of Akhmatova's work, better understand the emotions and ideas of her creations, and inspire them to write their own poetry. The program also includes musical performances inspired by her poetry.
