About the event

The "KAMAZ" Palace of Culture is accepting applications for participation in the International Literary Contest "Swans over Chelny-2026", dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the founding of Naberezhnye Chelny.

Authors aged 18 and older (no upper age limit) are invited to participate, regardless of their fame, professional training, membership in creative unions, or place of residence, provided they write in Russian or Tatar.

Contest categories:

• POETRY in Russian. Three poems are accepted: one poem must be dedicated to the city of Naberezhnye Chelny (its nature, architecture, history, people, etc.); two are on a free theme. The total length of the poetic collection should not exceed 60 lines.
• POETRY in Tatar. Three poems are accepted: one poem must be dedicated to the city of Naberezhnye Chelny (its nature, architecture, history, people, etc.); two are on a free theme. The total length of the poetic collection should not exceed 60 lines.
• SHORT PROSE in Russian. Two miniatures are accepted: one must be dedicated to the city of Naberezhnye Chelny (its nature, architecture, history, people, etc.); the second is on a free theme. The length of each miniature should not exceed 5,000 characters, including spaces.
• SHORT PROSE in Tatar. Two miniatures are accepted: one must be dedicated to the city of Naberezhnye Chelny (its nature, architecture, history, people, etc.); the second is on a free theme. The length of each miniature should not exceed 5,000 characters, including spaces.
