Paintings and graphic works by the renowned Chelny artist Madiyar Sharipovich Khaziev – People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, member of the Union of Artists of Russia and Tatarstan, laureate of the Baki Urmanche Prize, and Honorary Citizen of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny – will be presented in the small hall of the art gallery.
Madiyar Khaziev’s creative work is a vivid example of a continuous search and the artist's affirmation of his place in the vast, rapidly changing world of contemporary art. The artist conveys his message to the audience through profound meanings, organically drawing on experiments of early 20th-century world art and the traditions of Tatar folk art. In his work, the artist reflects philosophical generalizations about the human destiny, history, and addresses the themes of one's native home and the harmonious unity of man and nature.
His studio is open to students of all ages and levels of training. A pleiad of his artist-students continues to develop the mentor's traditions, teaches in art schools, and actively participates in exhibitions of various levels.
