The exhibition will allow visitors to experience the richness of the spiritual culture of antiquity, presented through masterpieces of poetry and dramaturgy by great authors of the past. They will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of wisdom and emotional depth of Greek lyrics, created by such prominent masters as Alcaeus, Archilochus, Xenophon, Sophocles, and Aeschylus.
Along with them, the legacy of the famous writer and philosopher Plutarch is offered to the audience's attention, whose art of portraiture and literary research had a huge impact on European literature of subsequent eras.
The section on Roman drama will be represented by the comedies of Plautus and the collection of works "Roman Satire", illustrating the wit and critical view of Roman writers on the life and customs of their time.
