On June 12, our country celebrates an important national holiday – Russia Day. This day is a symbol of national unity, freedom, peace and good harmony, and shared responsibility for the present and future of our Motherland.
Participants of the event will learn about the history of the holiday's origin and the great pages of our Motherland's history. First, a slide presentation "Our Fatherland" will be shown to the children, then the librarian will talk about the state symbols of Russia. Divided into teams, the kids will take part in the quiz "Know Your Fatherland". The event will conclude with a screening of the cartoon "We Live in Russia".
