Exhibition "The Poet's Heritage: Books, Memory, Time"

Aleksandr Tvardovsky is an outstanding poet and prose writer who also served as the editor-in-chief of the Novy Mir magazine. His name has become synonymous with honesty, civic courage, and a sincere love for his native land.

In the section "Poet of the Native Land," you can get acquainted with Tvardovsky's early poems. Here, the reader will find both idyllic and dramatic scenes of village life, as well as the beauty of nature and the author's first reflections on time. Among the works in this section are the poem "Land of Muravia" and "Rural Chronicle".

The section "Vasily Tyorkin – A National Hero" is dedicated to Tvardovsky's most famous work, the poem "Vasily Tyorkin". And the section "By the Truth of Memory: Time and Destiny" contains editions of his later works.
