Summer holidays will become a real cultural journey across Russia for children. The kids will learn about the traditions, customs, books, and cartoons of different peoples. Through games, contests, and quizzes, the host will show what is interesting in the cultures of various ethnic groups.
Children will especially enjoy folk games. They will recall and discuss such vibrant holidays as Sabantuy, Nardugan, Maslenitsa, Novruz, Pitrau, Ivan Kupala, and Grachinaya Kasha (Rook Porridge).
Representatives of the Mari and Russian peoples in national costumes will visit and tell about the most interesting holidays and ancient rites. The Russian beauty Alyonushka will invite the children to act out the folk tale "The Turnip". The kids will happily demonstrate their acting skills.
The celebration will conclude with the screening of a Chuvash cartoon. This story will leave vivid impressions and help children better understand the richness and diversity of the culture of their home country.
