Vasil Vladimirovich Bykov – a Soviet and Belarusian writer, public figure, participant of the Great Patriotic War, recipient of the Order of Lenin and numerous state awards of the USSR and Belarus, was born on June 19, 1924. Through his works, Bykov raised important questions of duty, responsibility, and personal resilience during difficult times. A hallmark of his style was the use of simple, clear narrative forms, emphasizing the strength of the hero's internal conflict and the depth of the issues addressed.
The exhibition will introduce visitors to the life and work of the writer and provide an opportunity to explore selected works created throughout his long writing career.
