The exhibition will feature fiction and non-fiction works that will help visitors feel and understand the events of those harsh years more deeply. Visitors will be introduced to books by famous authors such as K. Simonov, B. Vasiliev, V. Bykov, Y. Bondarev, V. Nekrasov, and other writers who captured the truth about the war in their works.
The exposition will include: works of fiction about the heroism of soldiers and officers, the feat of home front workers, the fates of wartime children, and books about key battles and lesser-known episodes of the war.
The exhibition is intended to preserve the living memory of millions of people who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of their Motherland and to pass this memory on to the younger generation.
