Hour of Remembrance "Don't forget this June day..."

June 22, 1941, is a tragic date in the country's history that marked the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. This day teaches us to value peace and take care of its preservation. Librarians will tell children about the soldiers and officers who stood at the border and were the first to face the attack of Nazi Germany. They will also recall the heroic deeds of those who gave their lives defending their native land. Video materials about the first hours of the war, as well as fragments of newsreels and feature films that convey the atmosphere of wartime, will be shown.
