An alien egg appears in a duck's nest, from which a chick hatches that looks nothing like the other ducklings. Neither the birds nor the animals in the farmyard want to accept him. Our duckling is looking for his own path. He leaves to find his flock. He is open to everyone, while others hide behind their masks.
The director's idea is an attempt to awaken in everyone the desire to make their dream come true, to awaken inner thinking, to feel like a beautiful swan. And it doesn't matter what you look like. What matters is the inner awareness of oneself and accepting oneself as one is.
Awards:
- In 2026, the play by the Ingush Theatre for Young Audiences was included in the top 100 plays in Russia and added to the "Golden Fund of Theatrical Productions";
- In 2024, the play won the Grand Prix at the International Festival of Children's Chamber Theatres "Magic Lantern" in Saint Petersburg.
