About the event

During the walking tour "Such an Unfamiliar – Familiar City," residents and guests of the city will be able to learn the history of the construction of the New City.

Walking along one avenue – Khasan Tufan Avenue – you can get acquainted with examples of urban architecture from the early 70s to the late 80s of the XX century. The intersection of Moskovsky Avenue and Khasan Tufan Avenue can be called the place where the New City originated.

The excursion route includes such interesting objects as building 2/01 – the first house that began to be built in the New City, the "Tyubeteika" tower, Enthusiasts Boulevard, the City Administration building, Azatlyk Square, as well as the esplanade and building 19/01.
