About the event

Participants of the event will get acquainted with the rich history of the wooden painted spoon, which is more than 1000 years old, and the craft of spoon-making. Young people will learn about the types of spoons, materials for their production, omens associated with the spoon, many interesting things about the spoon as a musical instrument, the origins and development of playing the spoons, will see the playing of virtuoso musical masters and omens associated with the spoon.
Everyone will be able to master simple techniques of playing wooden spoons, which are one of the most original and popular folk instruments.
