165 years have passed since the birth of the great writer and playwright Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. Yet his works continue to inspire people all over the world. Chekhov's humanism, his sparkling humor, and deep faith in the potential of the Russian person are close and understandable to everyone.
Participants of the event will be able to learn not only about his literary heritage, but also about how Anton Pavlovich was a doctor and a kind man. The children will read excerpts from his works with pleasure, share their impressions of the stories they have read, and learn many new things about the life of the great writer.
The librarian will also share unknown facts from Anton Pavlovich's biography, which will help to better understand his personality. At the end of the event, there will be an overview of the book exhibition "Incomparable Artist of Life", where books about Chekhov's life and work, as well as his own works, will be presented.
