About the event

The event invites students into the world of the great Tatar poet, thinker, and public figure Gabdulla Tukay, revealing not only the mysterious pages of his destiny but also the amazing depth of his work, which became the foundation of modern Tatar culture.

Participants will learn interesting facts about Tukay that show him as a living, multifaceted person. An interactive quiz will test their attention and resourcefulness, while also offering a new perspective on classical texts. The final part of the program is a dialogue with the poet's legacy in the 21st century. Participants will discuss how the ideas of humanism, love for their native language, and the Fatherland resonate today, and how the images from his fairy tales and poems are transformed in modern art, cinema, and digital media.

This conversation provides an opportunity not only to learn about the classics but also to see how a living cultural heritage continues to inspire, unite, and educate new generations.
