Every year on June 6, Russia celebrates Pushkin Day. On this day in 1799, Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin was born.
Children will learn about the life of the great poet and embark on an exciting journey through his fairy tales. By analyzing excerpts and illustrations, they will guess the titles of Pushkin's fairy tales, solve a fairy-tale crossword puzzle and riddles, and answer questions. Those who wish will recite Pushkin's poems by heart. The youngest participants will watch clips from the animated film "The Tale of the Priest and of His Workman Balda". At the end of the event, children will be able to draw their own pictures based on the poet's favorite fairy tales.
