Every year on June 12, Russia celebrates a special state holiday – Russia Day. It is a symbol of national unity, freedom, peace-loving and good will, reflecting shared responsibility for the present and future of the Fatherland. On this significant day, every citizen remembers their history, honors their ancestors and takes pride in the achievements of a multinational state.
Participants will immerse themselves in the amazing world of Russian culture and traditions: what do the colors of the tricolor symbolize? Where is the gaze of the double-headed eagle on the state emblem directed? Who wrote the lyrics to the anthem of modern Russia?
Children will be able to test their knowledge by participating in a quiz about state symbols and historical facts. The librarian will share stories about the heroic past of the Motherland and introduce children to people who have made a significant contribution to the development and defense of the country.
