June 6 marks Pushkin Day in Russia. In 2026, Alexander Pushkin would have turned 226 years old. On this day, librarians will invite everyone to take a book by the poet from the exhibition and read a poem, an excerpt from one of his poems, or even a chapter from "Eugene Onegin" aloud. Guests will be able to listen to others read, browse the books, and flip through them in the open air. The participation rules are simple: you can read loudly and expressively, or quietly for one listener. If desired, you can take a picture with a book.
