In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the event participants will discuss what Russia is proud of: its vast expanses, multi-ethnic people, great achievements, prominent scientists, writers, artists, and heroes who have contributed to the development of the country. They will also learn about the state symbols of Russia – the flag, the coat of arms, and the anthem – and discover their meaning and history. They will also recall unofficial symbols such as the matryoshka doll, balalaika, birch tree, and samovar. The program will include an engaging quiz on the history and geography of Russia, readings of patriotic poems, a discussion of significant pages of national heritage, and the viewing of thematic videos. This event will be a wonderful opportunity to express love for the Motherland, exchange thoughts, and feel unity in respect for the shared past.
