On June 15, at the House of Peoples' Friendship "Rodnik", a warm and heartfelt meeting dedicated to the traditions of the Mari culture, "Summer Festival Agavayrem", will be held for the members of the folk Mari ensemble "Mariy Sem". The event starts at 18:00.

Ritual part: the significance of the holiday, its connection with spring sowing and the worship of nature deities; a demonstration of elements of traditional prayers.
Musical heritage: the sounds of authentic Mari instruments — bagpipes (shüvyr), kӱsle (gusli) and others; performances of ritual and folk songs.
Dance tradition: a demonstration of the characteristic movements of Mari folk dances, reflecting the connection between man and nature.
Ethnographic block: an exhibition of national costumes with explanations of the symbolism of ornaments and cuts; a talk about the ritual objects of the holiday.
Culinary tradition: an introduction to the ritual cuisine of Agavayrem — pancakes (blini), potato vatrushkas, syrniki, cottage cheese dumplings (vareniki), traditional beer; an opportunity to taste some of the treats.
