On June 9, 1672, one of the most significant Russian rulers of all time, Emperor Peter I, was born. His activities divided the history of the state into two crucial eras: pre-Petrine and Petrine. The son of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov became the embodiment of large-scale transformations in all spheres of public life. Upon becoming Tsar of All Russia, Peter embarked on radical changes that ensured the country's powerful technological progress and the strengthening of its military potential.
The exhibition will introduce guests to documentary and fiction literature dedicated to Peter the Great and his enormous contribution to the formation of Russia.
