June 14 marks the 215th anniversary of the birth of the famous American writer Harriet Elizabeth Beecher Stowe. Visitors to the exhibition will be introduced to the history of her life and the creative path that led to the creation of the world-famous novel "Uncle Tom's Cabin, or Life Among the Lowly".
Visitors will also discover the rich legacy of American authors whose work has remained popular for decades: Margaret Mitchell ("Gone with the Wind"), Edgar Allan Poe ("The Black Cat", "The Gold-Bug"), Eleanor H. Porter ("Pollyanna"), and Louisa May Alcott ("Little Women").
