The head of the Department of Education, Rustem Khuzin, spoke about the changes: "Firstly, the deadline for issuing the administrative document on the assignment of schools to residential districts, the so-called territorial assignment order, has changed. If it used to be before February 1, now it's until March 15. That is, on this day, an order will be issued to assign educational institutions to specific territories and districts of the city. Within 10 days from the moment of its publication, the schools themselves post the order on the information stand, the official website and information on the number of available and planned places for enrollment in the first grade," he explained.
The deadlines for accepting applications have also changed. For children living in the assigned territory, they will be accepted from April 1 to June 30.
"The enrollment order will be issued within three days after receiving the application, rather than seven days as before, that is, before July 3," he said. Rustem Khuzin. "For children who do not live in a designated area, but want to enroll in an educational institution, if there are available places, applications will be accepted from July 6 and will run until September 5."
