Playwright and sensitive psychologist Ayaz Gilyazov is once again a step ahead of his time. The play is permeated with irony, humor, and grotesque.
The deer personifies nobility, beauty, and pride, while at the same time, in common parlance, it often carries a rich symbolic meaning. The characters in the play are either stubborn and unable to let go of the past, or treat life without understanding: they carefree «jump» and «leap» through meadows and fields, shifting responsibility onto others. Only a few are ready to accept, understand, and forgive another person, and most importantly – themselves.
Two women, completely different in social, material status, and moral qualities, are united by one thing – grief. The play "The Deer" will tell us what people are willing to do for their own gain and how they will overcome their inner fears.
