The event will begin with a theatrical performance that recounts the events leading up to the creation of the poem "The Death of a Poet." After the scene, teenagers will recite this poem in chorus, which will help them understand M. Yu. Lermontov's feelings.
With the help of a multimedia presentation, the youth will take a virtual journey through the writer's biography: they will learn about his family, his works, and the memorable places associated with his life. The young people will also learn that Mikhail Yuryevich not only wrote, but also excelled at drawing, sculpting with wax, spoke several foreign languages, and played musical instruments.
Participants will listen to several musical pieces based on Mikhail Yuryevich's poems: "Mountain Summits," "I go out onto the road alone...", "Do I hear your voice?". The teenagers will consolidate their knowledge of the writer's life and work by participating in the quiz "Discover Lermontov for Yourself."
The evening will conclude with a screening of an excerpt from the documentary "My Lermontov."
