Deputies of the City Council, employees of the Executive Committee, and heads of enterprises took part in the annual "Tree of Wishes" campaign.

Ornaments are hung on the tree, each containing a child's wish—a gift they would like to receive for the New Year. The wishes on the tree were not chosen at random: these are the dreams of children from low-income families, children with disabilities, and children from the "Asyltash" social shelter.

"We have made this a good tradition. We identified children who have been left without parents and are under guardianship or trusteeship. Children with health limitations also wrote down their wishes. We will be congratulating them and bringing joy to our young Naberezhnye Chelny residents," shared Irina Sagidullina.

No one knew in advance whose dream they would fulfill. The gifts will be presented to the children on the eve of the New Year.

The Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny, Nail Magdeev, also took part in the charity campaign held ahead of the New Year. "It is necessary to hand out gifts and bring joy to the children. This shows a heartfelt attitude towards our young residents." The head of the city took three ornaments off the tree, which means that three cherished wishes from boys and girls will be fulfilled before the New Year through the efforts of the Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny.
